England v South Africa - Twenty20 Cup Super Eights

Proteas rubbish Donald talk

Mickey Arthur has dismissed reports that Allan Donald has joined the Proteas management team as a consultant.

Former South Africa paceman Donald has previously worked as a bowling coach for England, but Arthur insisted there was no truth in reports he was to join the Proteas' staff.

"It is nonsense," Arthur said. "The only consultant is Duncan Fletcher who is in a part-time capacity."

"Mental conditioner Jeremy Snape, who assisted us in England and will be rejoining the squad in Australia after he has completed his commitments at the Champions League in India, is also on a part-time basis," he added.

"Our management team is complete and I must compliment them all for the role they have played in getting the Proteas to where they are today."

South Africa finished day two of the first Test against Bangladesh in a dominant position, having declared on 441 for nine before bowling Bangladesh out for 153 and then reducing them to 20 for one after enforcing the follow-on.
